Study for Rhode Island's Life and Accident & Health exams against the DBR's real blueprints.
Rhode Island has no combined Life & Health exam: the Life Producer exam and the Accident & Health Producer exam are each their own fully separate, 120-minute Pearson VUE exam, though each is scored as one combined 0–100 result rather than two. LicensePath maps every category on both real blueprints, whichever line (or both) you're licensing for.
What the real Rhode Island exams look like.
Both exams use a scaled passing score of 70, not a raw score or straight percent-correct. Each runs in two timed sections — a 75-minute "General" section and a 45-minute "State" section — but Pearson VUE's own candidate handbook is explicit that both exams "are one-part exams and are scored as a whole," one combined scaled score rather than two separate section scores.
Both exams, mapped from the DBR & Pearson VUE's own content outline.
Every category below comes from Pearson VUE's official Rhode Island Insurance Content Outlines (#124001, effective May 28, 2026). Both exams' General Knowledge sections reuse the exact same national category ids and point weights as Texas's own outline, independent confirmation that this national taxonomy is shared across states and not coincidental.

Built from the Rhode Island General Laws and Pearson VUE's own materials, not guesses.
Every Rhode Island question in LicensePath is sourced from the Rhode Island General Laws (RIGL) Title 27 and the Rhode Island Code of Regulations (RICR), fetched directly from the General Assembly's own site, then cross-checked against Pearson VUE's official Rhode Island content outline before it's approved for release.
Curious how state exam blueprints are built, or why every practice question carries a citation? Two short guides cover both: what's actually on your state's insurance exam and why we cite every practice question.
